Norma is a bilingual Spanish/English Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California and Oregon. Norma has been providing mental health services for families, children, adolescents, and adults for over seven years. She has worked with victims of crime, survivors of trauma, child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault. Norma has successfully treated clients with complex trauma over the years with positive outcomes, restoring people to pre-morbid functioning and often better, as she has been able to address trauma and negative experiences that keep people from functioning to their highest levels.

Norma’s approach is highly individualized, integrating evidence-based techniques to help people achieve their full potential. Her modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered, Solution Focused, and Strength Based all while maintaining a culturally sensitive approach. She has advanced training in relationships, trauma, immigration evaluations, maternal mental health, and EMDR.
